Some Advice for Up & Coming Models.......

I feel (in my opinion) when you sign up to be a part or become a product of an artist vision, you never should give too much of your opinion. Especially if your just learning. I say this in reference to my photography. If I have a vision for something, and put it out there, and you decide to participate, you have no say in what I'm doing. Your job is to simply model, and follow my direction. It's a little different when your a paying client, and your paying me for something YOU WANT, but you never tell a artist that their concept don't match. Your job, as the model is to bring forth the vision that is being asked of you. Someone telling me my concept don't match is the equivalent of someone telling a designer right before they walk out on the runway that their shoes don't look right with their outfit, or it don't match... trust that will be your last job working with that designer. So to future models. Never tell a photographer their concept doesn't match, because that could be your 1st, and last time working with them ever. Not only that, its disrespectful. As Tyra Banks would say....take something this and learn from it! Lmao...

"Where Do Broken Hearts Go?"

Where do broken hearts go? I think I figured out the answer. They go to a place where there is always love available. Friends family & God. No matter what your going through in life, with good friends and great people in your life you can get through anything. A lot of people think of me as a really strong individual, and I Am, as long as I have these people around. Thanks for helping me heal, and getting me back on the right path! I know most of my friends think I'm helping them by being around, but you all are truly helping me! Hugs!

Deonte` Get's On the "Skycoaster" @ Six Flags With Friends

Jesus take the wheel! Can you guys believe I got on this darn thing???? 1st of all I don't even ride roller-coasters, and for me to get on this was way out of my norm. Hell I haven't even been on a plane yet! LOL. I went to Six Flags with two of my best friends (Darrick & Tre`) this pass weekend, and they pushed me onto this thing! Especially Darrick. I damn near wanted to cry lol.

The look on my face tells it all about how I felt about getting on this thing lol.... After I did it, I couldn't believe it did it! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!! LOL

My August Banner Photo........

Hey guys. It's another month so you know what that means, a new blog banner photo lol.  My last two blog banner photos (June & July) were more like summer shoots. Alot of leg and shirts off, and so on lol. But with this blog banner I wanted to get back into some clothes. But I will admit, during this photo shoot, it had to be the hottest outside it's ever been. It was like a 100 in something degrees. So I would pick this outfit to wear during that time. I was sweating like a wet pig out there that day lol.... I have 5 months to go before I retire from this blog banner business lmao. As I stated before, in December it's a wrap lol. Like I said, I will ALWAYS do blog banners, but not as consistent as I'm doing them now on a monthly basis. Again, I always like to thank you guys for all your support with anything I do over here. I really really appreciate you all, I truly do.

I also want to take the time to thank my photographer (yes now photographer) Alfonce over at Al's Place 2 B for always delivering a great shot of me. Alot of people don't know what really goes on behind the scenes when it comes to getting a great photo. This man knew nothing about photography, and for 8 months he's delivered me shot after shot for my blog banners, with my training and direction. He's so good now, I can truly say he's damn near just as good as me. If not equal to. Our connection as model/photographer is amazing. I feel so comfortable just getting in front of him now, and doing what I have to do to get my shot! So I just wanted to welcome him to my dTk photography team, as my newest photographer. Thanks for your hard work, passion, and dedication. Love you homie.

Also a special thanks to my friend Daniel for making the shoes for this shoot happen. I saw them when I was in NYC, and they cost over $200 dollars. And if you guys know me well, then you would know I'm cheap lol... so he had them ordered for me off line at a way cheaper price. Again thanks homie!!!!!
