"Never Judge a Book By it's Cover"

Never Judge a Book By it's Cover, is one of those statements that will never get old. No matter how many times we say it, or try to live by this statement, we all fail to do so at times, including myself. The other day I went to the barber shop for the 1st time in a long time. As many of you may or may not know, for years I've been cutting my own hair. And I complain on Facebook & Twitter how much I hate doing it lol. So I decided to go to a shop with a good friend of mines, and was very nervous. It was early in the AM, and I was asking him who do he suggest for getting a great cut especially the type I wanted. So anyway, there were only 3 barbers at the shop when we arrived. Two older gentlemen, and one younger guy. So I automatically said, I'm getting the young guy to do my cut. I was like they look too old to be trying to give me the type of cut I want lol. So the older guy asked us, are we waiting on someone, and my friend said yes. Well this young boy walks in and the older guy that asked us were we waiting on someone started to cut his hair. I was like hmmmm he's doing a great job. The guy I'm waiting on is taking forever, so I walked up to the older guy and explained to him what I wanted, and also told him I haven't let anyone touch my head in a while. So he said he could do what I wanted. I sat in the chair, and let me just say, this 60 year old man made my entire weekend. He cut my hair really good. I wanted a Mohawk, and I didn't think he could do it. So I'm glad I gave this guy a chance. Now I have a new barber, and can't wait for my next cut. See if I should have known better to judge someone by their age, and for that I truly Am ashamed. Hell, I cut and do hair myself, and I hated when people judged me. So I should know how it feels. So people never judge a book by it's cover, because you can miss out on alot of things. Just like I would have missed out on this cut if I didn't just give this guy a try.
