Movie Review: A Nightmare on Elm Street

F
I absolutely hated this film. After I walked out of the movie theater Friday night I posted this message on my Facebook & Twitter page...."To whom it may concern just leave Jason, Michael Myers, and Freddy alone please... there will never be anything like those classics... so stop remaking them... thanks lol..." .... and I meant every word of what I said. This remake was terrible. I know it can't duplicate to old movie completely, but I feel if your gonna remake something at least TRY to make it better than the original. This Freddy was terrible. He had nothing on the old Freddy. The old Freddy was funny, and would whip your a** lol. This one fought a lil' but he was soft. He even talked punk-ish to me. "Why are screaming, when I haven't even cut you yet." The way he said that in the movie was just absolutely the worst! The REAL Freddy would have said "What the F**k you yelling for B**ch".....then threw their a**es against the wall, met them on the other side and slice them down to the grown you hear me lol. I know this Freddy did a lil slicing, but he was not good at all! Everyone sucked in this movie! I hated it, and don't recommend! I don't think I've ever given a movie a F before, but this one get a BIG FAT F across the board!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hmph!!!

Well I had the pleasure...i'm sorry displeasure of seeing this movie with Deonte. When he says that it was horrible, trust me it was. I am a person who likes anything. Even I couldn't wait for the movie to end.

the previews didn't seem like it would be any good. plus the original guy wasn't in it.

I haven't watched this yet. Robert Englund was, is and will ALWAYS be Freddy. Nightmare, along with Jason and crazy boy Mike, is one of my favorite horror series. The remakes have been eh. Halloween 2007 or 2008 (whichever year) was good; Friday the 13th 2009 was good. However, they don't measure up to the originals.

well I'm glad I didn't get around to seeing it. I'll wait for the video. I guess you shouldn't never fool around with a classic.

It's a lot like someone trying to sing "What's Going On" or "Let's Get It On" knowing full well those are songs only Marvin Gay can do justice. These movies are probably just like that.
