I was so excited today. To be able to witness this time in history felt so good. Like most people did, I did not go out in the freezing cold in all the traffic, and so on to see it, but I did watch it on TV with some great friends, and enjoyed it just the same. We cooked our own brunch, and had a great time. I even took some pics of the TV LMAO.... (what?... I wanted photos too lol).... It's a new day, and a new President. I'm proud to be an American. And most importantly I'm proud to be an African American. There is nothing we as a people can do (and I mean all people). Our ancestors would be proud. I give thanks to all those before us. Their struggles, hopes, and dreams are now a reality. We still have a long way to go, but through the grace of GOD we have gotten this far. Enjoy this moment everyone, and never forget it.OK don't laugh at my photos... LOL... like I said I snapped them from the TV LOL:

I was so emotional during this entire ritual. I have to admit, I have NEVER watched an inauguration before, so it was all brand new to me.
