Mary J Blige & Jay Z: Heart of the City Tour

I saw this show in Philly last night and let me just say it was hot! Mary J. Blige brought it like she always do @ her concerts. She wore this show out. I heard she was touring straight for 2 years and I see why. She performed only a few songs from her new CD, but she gave the fans the old Mary and reminded everyone she still got it and have more in stored for us in the upcoming year. I personally think this is something she did with Jay to make history ,and 2 show a side of her that alot of people thought she may have strayed away from. But what alot of people don't understand is Mary has Grown. She's not where she used to be when "My Life" came out. But alot of her fans still are, so she lets y'all know I feel y'all pain because I've been there, and I'm with you, but you don't have to stay there. Make some changes and get to where you deserve to be. I love Mary and she is a great inspiration to all. Jay Z surprised me and also did a excellent job. He is a true genius @ what he do. I love the fact he's a smart business man , the hard work he puts out, plus his connection he has with his fans. I used to say what could Jay do live for me????? I know hes a hot rapper, but can I watch him at a show....after last night I will make sure I'm at a Jay show for now on. He & Mary commanded the audience as a one man/woman show. This show was hot and everything plus more than I expected. (Not so much with Mary, because I've seen her twice so I knew she was going to be hot! Even though every time I see her she amazes me more than the last.) But Jay gave me more than I expected. Good show, and I hope everyone gets to experience what I did last night. If you went already, let me know what y'all thought!.....Oh! I had to add, the Dream opened up the show, and even though I like his CD and music I so wasn't feeling his performance. I don't even think the crowd was. It was kinda weird for me. I don't really know how to explain it other than it was just OK!
One highlight of the show for me was when Jay & Mary performed of of my favorites tracks they recorded together and that was "Can't Knock The Hustle".
